Piqua Youth Football Association welcomes any/all players/cheerleaders, including from other cities and everyone makes a team.
Flag Football - we will provide them a uniform shirt and flags. All you will need to get them is a colored (NOT CLEAR) mouthguard. The kids can play with regular tennis shoes. The flags will be turned in at the end of the season.
Cheerleading - we will provide a uniform top/skirt/spankies and pom poms. All of which will be turned in at the end of the year.
Contact - we will provide helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey, practice pants, game pants, and pants pads. You will need to purchase a colored (NOT CLEAR) that attaches to the helmet. All provided equipment will be turned in at the end of the season. Kids may wear cleets, or tennis shoes.
ANY EQUIPMENT NOT TURNED IN AT THE END OF THE SEASON WILL BECOME THE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARENTS/GUARDIAN.
Yes, siblings of the football players will be matched to the same teams. Younger football players will also automatically be matched up to the JV team that the older sibling is currently on.
You would need to come to a PYFA meeting, which is on the main page and request this. You need to make mention of it at sign ups so we can pull his forms for the meeting.
