PYFA Travel Team Information...

Piqua Youth Football Association

Travel Team Tryouts

5th/6th Graders/12 and Under

The Piqua Youth Football Association is putting together a travel team for the 5th/6th Graders / Age 12 and Under as of September 1, 2010.

We will be holding Tryouts for anyone interested on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Piqua High School Practice Field.

Bring all practice pads and helmets to tryouts.

This team will be playing in youth tournaments after our PYFA season is over.  We will be guaranteed a minimum of 2 games per tournament.

At this time we are looking at the following tournaments...

  • 2010 Youth Football State Championships
  • November 6th and 7th in Sandusky Ohio.
  • The Trojan Horse Tournament
  • November 12th-14th in Troy Ohio.
  • Buckeye Invitational Youth Championships
  • November 19th-21st in Dayton Ohio.
  • Midwest National Youth Football Championships
  • November 26th-28th in Cleveland Ohio.

There will be a participation fee of $100 (may be less depending on sponsors).  This fee will cover tournament entry fees and lodging.

The PYFA will provide uniforms, pads and helmets.

**You must tryout to be eligible for team selection**

**25 players will be selected for the travel team**
